The Riverside Restaurant, in its idyllic position, offers a memorable dining experience at affordable prices.

We believe eating out should satisfy all your senses, not just your taste buds. In addition to a sincere and warm welcome from our ‘willing to oblige’ staff and homely smell of burning logs on the open brazier, expect to find mouthwatering aromas of homemade bread and ground coffee, mingled with fresh cut flowers and bees’ wax polish. Nothing is too much trouble and everything comes with a smile.

At the Riverside we only use locally sourced seasonal vegetables, many of which are grown by the market gardener next door and are delivered daily. Our accommodating menu changes regularly and can be enjoyed, weather permitting, on our terrace overlooking the mill pond.

Our interesting wine list includes selections from Europe and the New World to suit all palates, some classic vintages as well as other ‘ready to drink’ younger wines.

Watch out for our Specials, both in food and wine. They are carefully chosen and, along with our homemade Nusu Nusu bread, have become legendary.
